The SPEGC has been designated as the final beneficiary in the call for grants aimed at participation in the Canary Islands Network of Innovation and Business Development Centers (Red CIDE). With this resolution corresponding to the 2026 call, SPEGC renews its participation in this network, which aims to bring innovation closer to Canarian companies and institutions.
Promoted by the Regional Ministry of Universities, Science and Innovation and Culture of the Government of the Canary Islands, through the Canary Islands Agency for Research, Innovation and Information Society (ACIISI), and co-financed at 85% by the Canary Islands ERDF Programme 2021–2027, this network is made up of entities distributed throughout the archipelago that have specialized technical staff providing advisory services on R&D&I projects.
Its objective is to facilitate innovation within the business sector and society by offering free and accessible services to support companies in the development of innovative initiatives. In the case of SPEGC, these services are provided through the SAE – Business Support Service, which can be accessed by completing the form available on the entity’s website.
The grant awarded to SPEGC amounts to a total of €57,120, which will be mostly executed in the 2027 financial year. The funding is allocated as follows: €40,800 for personnel costs and €16,320 for other associated expenses. The project will run for 12 months, from October 1, 2026, to September 30, 2027.
