King & Wood Mallesons ("KWM") has advised the private equity firms CAPZA and Nexxus Iberia on the sale to Península Capital of a majority stake in Wm Clinics.
Wm Clinics, a healthcare leading European franchising company with a track record of 20 years, has more than 150 clinics in Spain and Portugal. The group owns the brands Dorsia; EVA Fertility Clinics; Clínicas Origen; and Clínicas The Test.
The transaction was led by corporate partner Roberto Pomares, who had the support of associates Elena Torrecillas and Alejandra Martín.
Capza (formerly Capzanine) is a European private investment manager with €6.1 billion of assets and focused on small and mid-cap companies. Since its entry into Spain in 2016 Capza has become one of the most active firms in the national private equity market.
Nexxus Iberia is a private equity manager founded in 2016 with a strategy focused mainly on investing in small and medium-sized companies in Spain and Portugal to promote their international expansion in Europe, Latin America and the United States.
