ArsCorporate has strengthened its Debt Advisory and Structured Finance practice with the appointment of Juan Antonio Romero Bolívar as Partner, reinforcing its capabilities in corporate finance advisory and debt structuring for family-owned businesses and corporate groups.
Juan Antonio Romero Bolívar brings more than 20 years of experience in corporate finance, credit risk analysis and debt structuring from the perspective of banks and other financing providers. Throughout his career, he has held positions at EBN Banco, Unicaja, ABANCA, EthiFinance and Santander Corporate & Investment Banking, where he has been involved in the origination, analysis, structuring, syndication, restructuring and monitoring of complex financing transactions.
Over the course of his career, he has participated in transactions with an aggregate value exceeding €2 billion, including some of the most significant syndicated financing deals in the Spanish market, involving international investment funds and Spain’s leading financial institutions.
His extensive experience provides him with a comprehensive understanding of how lenders assess and make financing decisions, enabling him to anticipate their approach, identify the key factors that determine the viability of a transaction and manage the main execution risks involved.
In his new role at ArsCorporate, he will advise entrepreneurs, shareholders and management teams of family-owned businesses and corporate groups on situations where the financial structure is a critical factor, including growth initiatives, acquisitions, investments, refinancings, liability reorganisations and special situations.
His work will focus on designing, structuring and negotiating financing solutions aligned with each company's strategy, financial profile and specific needs, expanding the range of available funding alternatives while strengthening clients' negotiating position with banks, investment funds and other financing providers.
