Diana Capital, the private equity firm specialising in supporting the growth of Spanish middle-market companies, has reached an agreement to acquire a stake in Aurora Intelligent Nutrition, a Seville-based company and a leading manufacturer of high value-added nutritional food products and supplements for third parties (CDMO – Contract Development & Manufacturing Organization). The transaction will be carried out through a capital increase, following which Diana Capital will hold a 46% stake in the company, while the founding family will retain the remaining shareholding.
The new funding will enable Aurora to accelerate its business plan through investments aimed at expanding production capacity, automating processes and strengthening its operational capabilities to meet the growing dynamism of the functional nutrition market. The plan also envisages selective acquisitions of complementary businesses to support inorganic growth.
Founded in Seville and employing more than 300 people, Aurora Intelligent Nutrition has established itself as one of Europe's leading CDMOs in the functional nutrition segment, manufacturing products including nutrition bars, dietary supplements, gummies and gels, among others, through a continued commitment to quality, innovation and manufacturing excellence. In 2025, the company generated revenues of €43 million, representing 20% growth compared with the previous year, while exporting more than 40% of its production to international markets.
The investment in Aurora represents the fourth transaction completed by Diana Capital's third fund (Diana Capital III FCR, with €180 million of committed capital), reinforcing the Spanish private equity firm's strategy of backing outstanding management teams and companies with strong growth prospects operating in attractive markets.
