011h is a Catalan startup that has developed a new construction model based on three pillars: material circularity, digitalization, and industrialization of the entire process. Its solution improves buildings’ energy performance, reduces the carbon footprint of materials used, shortens design and construction timelines, and increases quality and reliability in execution.
Founded in 2020 by Lucas Carné, José Manuel Villanueva, Josep Barberá, and Carlos Llibre, this tech company provides turnkey design and construction services for real estate developers, integrating prefabricated solutions with various materials such as wood, concrete, and lightweight metal structures. This strategy allows for diversification of suppliers and construction systems, executing processes in a controlled environment, optimizing quality, reducing construction timelines, and cutting CO₂ emissions by more than 50% compared to conventional methods—all enhanced by digitalization at every stage of the process.
011h’s value proposition focuses on delivering affordable and sustainable multifamily housing, with better-utilized spaces, faster delivery, and cost reliability.
The company’s products also stand out for higher quality, lower maintenance requirements, and 20% greater energy efficiency.
Through its digital platform, suppliers can easily integrate their products into designers’ and contractors’ workflows. The platform also includes a toolkit for architects, enabling optimal design at lower cost, reducing risks in developers’ decision-making, optimizing contracting, and improving project planning and execution.
Having completed one project per year from 2021 to 2024 for clients such as Aedas and Culmia, 011h is building four developments in 2025 and plans to start two more before year-end, totaling 520 homes and €50 million in execution. For 2026, the company already has projects committed worth €100 million.
Through Innvierte, CDTI Innovación has closed an investment in 011h alongside SEAYA ANDROMEDA SUSTAINABLE TECH FUND I FCR, REDALPINE CAPITAL SCS, SICAR (French investor), BREEGA VENTURE II (Luxembourg investor), BSOCIAL IMPACT FUND, FESE, S.A., and BSOCIAL IMPACT FUND II FESE, S.A., with a total investment of €5,436,000.
This participation reinforces CDTI Innovación’s commitment to combating climate change by enabling carbon footprint reduction and contributing to the transformation of the construction sector, promoting wider and more sustainable access to housing.

Innvierte
Innvierte is an initiative aimed at promoting business innovation by supporting venture capital investments in technology-based or innovative companies. The program is implemented through the closed-end collective investment company Innvierte Economía Sostenible SICC S.M.E., S.A., self-managed and supervised by the National Securities Market Commission, with CDTI Innovación as its sole shareholder.
To date, CDTI Innovación has committed €2.661 billion in 61 investment vehicles, which have invested in over 622 companies, and through its co-investment line has directly committed €723 million in 190 companies.
Innvierte is part of Spain’s Science, Technology, and Innovation Strategy 2021-2027, approved by the Council of Ministers in September 2020.
