CDTI Innovación’s Innvierte invests alongside Swanlaab Tech Fund II in PADMI, the leading padel app using AI analytics, enhancing player and club experience

INTELLIGENCE PADEL S.L. (PADMI) is a company that has developed a platform based on Artificial Intelligence that analyzes padel matches in real time to generate advanced statistics and highlight videos, improving the experience for both players and clubs.

Thanks to this application, players have access to a virtual coach that analyzes their game and suggests improvements, offering an experience akin to that of professional athletes. Additionally, by simply raising their arms after each point, the system automatically saves the video for download or social media sharing.

PADMI automatically generates statistics such as winners and errors by shot type, ball speed by stroke, overall court activity, heat maps showing areas of highest movement, comparisons between players, and personalized recommendations to enhance performance after each match.

At the end of each session, all information is processed and transformed into clear visual data displayed directly in the PADMI app, allowing players to review their performance, better understand their game, and relive key moments from a new perspective.

CDTI Innovación, through its Innvierte initiative, has completed an investment in PADMI together with Swanlaab Tech Fund II, with a total investment of €810,000. This participation allows CDTI Innovación to support innovative companies that leverage disruptive technologies to enhance user experiences.

Swanlaab Venture Factory

Swanlaab Tech Fund II is an investment fund managed by Swanlaab Venture Factory, a venture capital firm with a team boasting over 20 years of investment experience in diverse sectors including B2B software, agri-food tech, and search fund investments. Its mission is to help build successful companies by investing in innovative and technology-driven projects.

The Swanlaab team consists of professionals who have founded and led their own startups, managed renowned VC funds, and advised over 200 companies to market launch, with a clear goal of helping Spanish entrepreneurs succeed on a global scale.

Innvierte

Innvierte is an initiative aimed at promoting business innovation by supporting venture capital investment in technology-based or innovative companies. The program is implemented through the closed-end collective investment company Innvierte Economía Sostenible SICC S.M.E., S.A., self-managed and supervised by the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV), of which CDTI Innovación is the sole shareholder.

To date, CDTI Innovación, through Innvierte, has committed €2.885,8 million across 54 investment vehicles and, through its co-investment line, has directly committed €833.6 million across 197 companies.

Innvierte is part of the Spanish Science, Technology and Innovation Strategy 2021–2027, approved by the Council of Ministers in September 2020. This strategy establishes objectives, reforms, and measures to be implemented across R&D&I to promote growth and impact, serving as a key pillar of Spain’s R&D&I policy framework for the coming years.

CDTI Innovación
