33N Ventures, participated by Alantra, has announced it is leading a €10 million Series A investment in Equixly, joined by Alpha Intelligence Capital and with additional participation from existing investors 360 Capital, JME Ventures, and Fondazione CR Firenze.

APIs now handle approximately 57% of web traffic and have become direct revenue pipelines. However, industry estimates put API-related losses in the hundreds of billions of euros, making API security a critical priority not just for infrastructure, but for safeguarding income.

Equixly has developed proprietary AI agents that continuously identify vulnerabilities throughout the software development lifecycle. These agents automate complex API security testing by learning each application’s usage patterns, reconstructing business logic, and running targeted attack simulations that expose weaknesses much like a skilled hacker would.

Already trusted by leading European banks, insurers, and payment providers, Equixly will use the Series A funding to expand its team, further develop its proprietary technology, and accelerate global expansion, starting with the UK.

At 33N Ventures, the firm focuses on backing founders who are building the infrastructure for the next decade of software. Equixly API Security represents a key step in achieving that vision.
