Vendict, a Cardumen Capital-backed company and an AI-native platform reshaping Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) management, has announced a $10 million Series A financing round led by new investors Moneta VC and JAL Ventures. Existing investors, including NFX, Cardumen Capital, Disruptive AI, and Cyber Club London, also participated, some increasing their stakes beyond pro-rata, reaffirming strong confidence in the company’s mission and market position. With this round, Vendict’s total capital raised now amounts to $20 million.
GRC has become one of the most time- and documentation-intensive business functions. Most organizations still rely on manual effort to manage regulatory frameworks, map controls, and handle documentation for audits and assessments—an unsustainable approach. Vendict offers a more efficient path: a platform that enables GRC professionals to operate 10 times faster, with full traceability and AI-generated outputs free of “hallucinations.”
GRC leaders face 10x pressure due to rising regulations, more complex third-party ecosystems, and lower risk tolerance. Speed alone is no longer sufficient; compliance must be executed with quality and leveraged as a strategic advantage.
With over 100 clients in less than three years, many migrating from manual or legacy solutions, Vendict demonstrates that compliance can be agile, accessible, and cost-effective.
Udi Cohen, co-founder and CEO of Vendict, stated: “The Compliance function shouldn’t be copy-pasting into spreadsheets—it should define strategy, manage risk, and build trust. That is what our platform enables, built on language models and knowledge graphs that not only generate answers, but understand context, explain reasoning, and deliver reliable results for executives.”
Vendict is designed as an intelligent extension of the GRC team, providing instant, precise responses to security questionnaires, gap analyses for frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, DORA, and ESG, third-party risk assessments, and evidence-backed report generation. The platform adapts to each organization’s unique environment, moving from static processes to dynamic models, reducing time and increasing efficiency.
Vendict has achieved tangible results in a market dominated by legacy tools with added AI. Its AI-native design ensures full traceability, explainable accuracy, and documentation support—a critical differentiator in a crowded automation landscape.
Gonzalo Martínez de Azagra, Founder and General Partner at Cardumen Capital, commented: “That native advantage shows in Vendict’s speed, accuracy, and client successes. Vendict proves that explainable and traceable AI is not only possible, it’s absolutely necessary.”
