The Innovation and Development Foundation (FIDBAN) has opened a new application period for startups from Cantabria that wish to present their projects in search of funding. The new Investor Round, the 26th edition, will take place on March 11 at the Exhibition Hall of the European University of the Atlantic (UNEATLANTICO). The deadline for submitting projects for review by the Technical Committee is February 20.
Since 2017, the year FIDBAN began its activities, more than 90 startups have taken part in its investor rounds. While most of them are from Cantabria, startups from Mexico and Central America have also participated. FIDBAN is a member of the Spanish Association of Business Angels (AEBAN).
Since 2023, all FIDBAN Investor Rounds have included an interview with a successful entrepreneur and can be followed in person or through the Foundation’s social media channels.
Proposals must be submitted through the link available on the FIDBAN website.
FIDBAN’s Board of Trustees is made up of FUNIBER (Ibero-American University Foundation), SODERCAN as the main sponsor, the European University of the Atlantic, the Center for Industrial Research and Technology of Cantabria (CITICAN), CEOE-CEPYME, and the city councils of Santander and Torrelavega
