Deale, the first independent digital M&A platform focused on helping SMEs connect more efficiently with investors and advisors, has announced the relocation of its Barcelona headquarters to 401 Avinguda Diagonal. The move nearly doubles the company's operational space to 453 square metres and marks a new phase in Deale's growth and consolidation strategy as the company celebrates its fifth anniversary.
The new headquarters are located in a landmark building dating back to 1922, home to companies including Unifarco, Mirabaud and Macadam, on one of Barcelona's main business avenues. The relocation reflects Deale's evolution towards a more corporate working environment, aligned with its current stage of maturity while maintaining the flexible working culture that has become a key part of its identity.
The move also supports the company's expansion plans for 2026. Deale expects to grow its workforce from 44 to 50 employees by the end of the year, representing a 13% increase through sustained, strategic hiring aimed at strengthening key capabilities and reinforcing its growth in Spain. The company was founded just five years ago by a team of six people.
The new headquarters represent an important milestone in Deale's corporate journey and reinforce its commitment to expanding its capabilities, attracting and developing talent, and strengthening its position as a leading player in the mid-market M&A sector. The new office provides an operating model designed to scale over the coming years and gives Deale a solid foundation to support a growing number of entrepreneurs through business sales, succession planning and growth transactions in an increasingly dynamic market.
"Deale has changed significantly over the past few years, and today we work with an increasingly broad range of stakeholders, including advisors, investors, business owners and strategic partners. Having headquarters that reflect this evolution is important. Our new office allows us to project a more corporate image that is consistent with where we are today, while also fostering collaboration, innovation and talent attraction," said Gerard García, Founder and CEO of Deale.
"When we talk about culture, it can sometimes sound intangible, but it is reflected in very tangible aspects of our day-to-day work: how we collaborate, how we learn, how we innovate and how we support our people. The office is part of that. This new space helps us create a more corporate and professional environment without losing what defines us: a flexible, high-performance, results-driven culture. We want coming into the office to have a real purpose—to be a place where people connect and collaborate—while ensuring flexibility remains a genuine benefit for the team," said Clàudia Boluda, Head of People at Deale.
About the new headquarters
Deale's new office combines the building's original architectural character with a comprehensive refurbishment completed in June, creating a workspace designed to meet today's standards of comfort, efficiency and functionality.
The office has been designed to provide a practical and comfortable working environment that reflects the company's collaborative way of working. The layout facilitates teamwork while also offering a professional setting for meetings with clients, advisors and other external stakeholders.
The new headquarters include three dedicated client meeting rooms designed to ensure privacy and an excellent meeting experience, together with a formal boardroom for executive meetings. The office also features several flexible collaboration rooms for internal meetings and teamwork, as well as an amphitheatre-style space that can be used for training sessions, presentations, company meetings, workshops and future events.
As an added benefit, the building offers a shared rooftop terrace with panoramic views of Barcelona, providing an attractive space for both employees and visitors. The office is also equipped with an intelligent meeting room booking system and modern technology to ensure smooth day-to-day operations within a contemporary workspace that reflects Deale's brand and culture.
