King & Wood Mallesons ("KWM") has advised Jaume Oliu on the incorporation of the management company Harvest Capital Management and the launch of his first fund, Harvest Hospitality F.C.R.E., an investment vehicle with a target size of €40 million and aimed mainly at the investment in the hotel sector in Spain, Italy and Portugal.

The KWM team that has participated in this work has been led by the Funds partner Isabel Rodríguez, who has had the support of associates Enrique Torné and Enrique Aparicio.

Although Harvest Hospitality is going to invest mainly in the hotel sector, an area of activity that has good prospects in the short-medium term, it also reserves the possibility of investing -up to 20%- in other projects such as catering, residential, tourist activities and renewable energy.

Jaume Oliu, formerly Head of Corporate Development and Strategy at Banco Sabadell, is committed to launching a European private equity fund in a sector in which he already enjoys a successful career, having previously participated in the creation of Blackstone's hotel platform (HIP).
