The Brazilian startup Bliss, specialized in using artificial intelligence (AI) to optimize health insurance sales in the SME segment, has closed a Series A funding round of BRL 57 million (€9.5 million), co-led by Spanish fund Kfund and Brazilian bank Grupo Bradesco.
Kfund led the round through its early-growth fund Leadwind, with participation from Actyus and Clocktower Ventures. With this round, Bliss has now raised a total of €13 million since its founding, following previous rounds led by Canary and Speedinvest, which also participated in this latest funding.
The funds will be primarily used for geographic expansion beyond São Paulo, focusing on cities such as Rio de Janeiro and Brasília, as well as strengthening product and technology teams.
"The reliance on manual processes remains one of the main bottlenecks in health insurance distribution. Advances in artificial intelligence and cost pressures are accelerating the need for change," said Bliss co-founder and CEO Fernando Gonçalves.
Bliss is transforming the market with Fátima, a vertical AI agent network that automates the back-office:
As a licensed broker (ANS/SUSEP), Bliss owns the entire workflow and regulatory burden, enabling brokers to focus on what truly drives value: human connection and professional advisory.
