Aexbridge Capital has arranged a €43.5 million senior loan facility to refinance and reposition a premium hospitality portfolio comprising two hotels located in Mallorca and Sotogrande (Cádiz).
The portfolio includes two established hospitality assets with a combined total of 375 rooms. The financing will support the completion of a comprehensive capital expenditure programme aimed at upgrading and repositioning both properties as leading four-star and four-star superior lifestyle resorts.
The transaction is sponsored by Arena Investors, LP and OppoInvest, reinforcing Aexbridge Capital's strategy of partnering with experienced sponsors that have a proven track record of successfully executing value-add investment strategies in prime European destinations.
The financing also underscores Aexbridge Capital's continued confidence in the Spanish leisure and hospitality sector, where resilient tourism demand and strategic asset repositioning continue to create attractive long-term investment opportunities.
By supporting the transformation of these two hotel assets, the transaction is expected to enhance their market positioning while contributing to the continued growth and modernization of Spain's premium hospitality offering.
