Spanish private equity firm Henko Partners has acquired a 67% stake in Aerotecnic, a Spanish company specializing in the design, manufacturing and assembly of aerostructures and components for the aerospace industry. The transaction marks the beginning of a new phase of growth for the Seville-based company, aimed at strengthening its industrial and technological capabilities while accelerating its domestic and international expansion.
Following the transaction, Enrique Marqués, Founder and CEO of Aerotecnic, will retain a 33% ownership stake and continue to lead the company's management.
Founded in 2005 and headquartered in La Rinconada (Seville), Aerotecnic employs nearly 400 professionals and operates five production facilities across Seville and Cádiz. The company generates annual revenues of approximately €45 million and provides integrated engineering, manufacturing and programme management services for complex aerospace platforms, positioning itself as a strategic supplier to both the Spanish and international aerospace industries.
With Henko Partners joining as majority shareholder, Aerotecnic aims to accelerate its growth strategy, expand its industrial capabilities and strengthen its position as a strategic partner to leading aerospace manufacturers and Tier 1 suppliers. The company's business plan targets annual revenues of €75 million by 2028.
Aerotecnic currently participates in programmes for some of the world's leading aerospace manufacturers, including Airbus, Boeing, Dassault, Embraer and Honda.
"This transaction represents a strategic milestone for Aerotecnic. Henko's investment provides us with the resources and support needed to take the company to the next level while preserving our team, our culture and our commitment to technological and operational excellence," said Enrique Marqués, CEO of Aerotecnic.
