CDTI Innovación, through Innvierte, deploys €113 million in March across venture capital co-investments and investment vehicles

From January 2026, CDTI Innovación, through Innvierte, has completed co-investment operations in 20 companies with total commitments of €53.37 million, and has also committed investments in 4 investment vehicles amounting to €141.6 million.

In March alone, CDTI Innovación closed six co-investment transactions, two of them strategic, for a total amount of €33,063,000:

BIOHERENT, S.L. (Málaga) develops in vitro diagnostic systems based on photonic biosensors for detecting drug allergies, including antibiotics and anaesthetic and biologic drugs. The investment is carried out alongside BULLNET CAPITAL III, SCR PYME S.A. and ACE 53, SLU, with CDTI Innovación contributing €284,000.
MOA BIOTECH, S.L. (MOA Foodtech) (Navarra) applies AI and fermentation technologies to upcycle agri-food by-products into functional ingredients. The investment is made with Swanlaab Innvierte Agrifood Tech, FCR, with CDTI Innovación contributing €674,000.
TELUM THERAPEUTICS, S.L. (Navarra) develops synthetic proteins to combat multi-drug resistant bacterial strains. The investment is made alongside INVIVO VENTURES, FCR, NAVARRA TECH TRANSFER FCR and UN I+d+i TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER FCR, with a CDTI contribution of €216,000.
ZOUNDREAM, S.L. (Barcelona) uses artificial intelligence and advanced voice recognition technology to analyse newborn crying patterns to identify needs and support early detection of neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism or language delays. The investment is made with CRB DIGITAL HEALTH III, F.C.R.E. and CRB DIGITAL HEALTH III BIS F.C.R.E., S.A., with CDTI Innovación contributing €675,000.

Within the strategic company investment line, CDTI Innovación has also committed:

€24.3 million in ONCOMATRYX BIOPHARMA, S.A. (Vizcaya) to advance oncology therapies and develop a specialised Fill & Finish manufacturing plant for high-potency drugs.
€6.8 million in XOOPLE, S.L. (Madrid), a data infrastructure company building a global system to record physical changes on Earth.

During March, CDTI Innovación also committed €80.56 million across two investment vehicles:

CRB Digital Health III, F.C.R.E., the first European fund fully dedicated to digital health, managed by CRB Health Tech, S.G.E.I.C., S.A., focused on disruptive technologies in prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. CDTI commitment: €10 million.
INCEPTIONBIO INNVIERTE, FCRE, managed by YSIOS CAPITAL PARTNERS, S.G.E.I.C., S.A.U., focused on early-stage biotech and technology transfer projects in Spain. CDTI commitment: up to €70.56 million.
