CRB Digital Health III, F.C.R.E., is the first European fund fully dedicated to digital health based in Spain. It is managed by CRB Health Tech SGEIC and focuses on investing in companies with a proven business model and clear growth opportunities. Its strategy is oriented towards the development of disruptive technologies applied to prevention, diagnosis, and treatment, as well as platforms that enhance the efficiency and sustainability of the healthcare system.
The entry of CDTI Innovación, through Innvierte, into this fund with a €10 million commitment strengthens institutional support for a strategy focused on developing innovative solutions in digital health, aiming to transform the healthcare system through innovation, technology, and long-term capital. The shared goal of this initiative is to position Spain as a leading digital health hub in Southern Europe, fostering the development of technologies that improve efficiency, clinical quality, and the sustainability of healthcare systems.

CRB Health Tech SGEIC is a venture capital management firm specialized in healthcare technologies, including biotechnology, medical devices, and digital health.
Founded in 2008 by a multidisciplinary team based in Madrid and Barcelona, it supports visionary entrepreneurs and innovative projects that are transforming the healthcare landscape through disruptive technologies.
The investment thesis of CRB Digital Health III focuses on the convergence of digital technologies and healthcare. Innvierte is an initiative aimed at promoting business innovation by supporting venture capital investment in technology-based or innovative companies. The program is structured through the closed-end collective investment scheme Innvierte Economía Sostenible SICC S.M.E., S.A., self-managed and supervised by the Spanish National Securities Market Commission (CNMV), with CDTI Innovación as its sole shareholder.
To date, CDTI Innovación has committed, through Innvierte, €3.4785 billion across 61 investment vehicles, and through its co-investment line has directly committed €866.1 million in 197 companies.
Innvierte is part of the Spanish Science, Technology and Innovation Strategy 2021–2027, which defines the objectives and measures to promote R&D+i and strengthen its impact on economic growth.
The CDTI Innovación (Centre for the Development of Technology and Innovation) is the Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities’ innovation agency, aimed at promoting technological innovation in the business sector.
