Aleos Fund I is a fund with a target size of €150 million and a hard cap of €240 million, managed by Aleos Capital SGEIC, S.A. (Aleos Capital), a Spanish firm specializing in life sciences. The fund focuses its investment on Spanish and Portuguese SMEs across three life sciences verticals: health and wellness, sustainable nutrition, and climate and environment. In February 2026, the fund completed its first closing, already exceeding its target size.
The fund has national and international investors, mainly institutional and private, including a commitment from the management team itself. It is a diversified base, with no investor contributing more than 25% of the total commitments. CDTI Innovación’s commitment, through Innvierte, in this first closing amounts to €37.5 million.
Aleos Fund I is expected to invest tickets ranging from €15 to €25 million, primarily taking majority stakes (or significant minority stakes) in companies in Spain and Portugal operating in these life sciences areas, with EBITDA between €2 million and €8 million.
The manager will implement an active investment strategy, providing operational support to portfolio companies. Sector consolidation, international expansion, strengthening management teams, sustainability, and the use of technology will be the main levers to create value.
Through this operation, CDTI Innovación reaffirms its commitment to investing in SMEs active in fields such as health and wellness, sustainable nutrition, and climate and environment.
