The Board of Directors of CDTI Innovación, a State-Owned Enterprise (E.P.E.) attached to the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, has approved 60 new business R&D&I projects with a total budget of €135.16 million. Of this amount, CDTI Innovación will contribute €110.47 million, including a non-repayable tranche of €19.21 million. The total number of operations approved by CDTI Innovación is 64, and all projects fall under the loan-based funding scheme.

A total of 60 companies are involved in the development of these projects, of which 17 are receiving CDTI Innovación funding for the first time and 39 are SMEs. These companies employ 339 people dedicated to achieving the proposed objectives.

CDTI Innovación

CDTI Innovación is the public entity responsible for financing innovation under the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities. It promotes innovation and technological development in Spanish companies by channeling funding requests and support for R&D&I projects at both national and international levels. CDTI Innovación contributes to improving the technological capabilities of Spanish companies and, through an international network covering 51 countries, supports Spanish participation in international technology cooperation programmes and the international transfer of business technology. CDTI also supports the creation and consolidation of technology-based companies in Spain.
