Cardumen Capital and Portocolom AV announce the final close of Impulso Global Fund of Funds, which has reached its target size of €40M, consolidating the Fund as one of the most solid and differentiated impact investment initiatives in Spain and Europe. It is the first private markets fund of funds in Spain classified as Article 9 under the SFDR, combining Cardumen Capital’s extensive private markets investment experience with Portocolom AV’s proprietary methodology, technical rigor, and excellence in sustainability and impact.
Following this closing, the Fund continues to deploy capital across its priority themes —education, health, financial inclusion, climate change, sustainable agriculture, water and sanitation— through a multi-asset architecture that includes Venture Capital, Growth Equity, Private Debt, and Infrastructure.
To date, the Fund has invested in eight leading managers across Spain, Europe, the United States, and emerging markets, aligned with its People, Planet, and Prosperity pillars:
• Columbus Venture Partners – Health, biotechnology, and applied research
• Q-Impact – Social cohesion, inclusive employment, and impact economy
• Ilex Renovables – Clean energy and green infrastructure
• Impact Bridge – Sustainable agriculture and food resilience
• Quona Capital – Financial inclusion and digitalization of essential services
• Learn Capital – Education and EdTech innovation
• Ecosystem Integrity Fund – Climate solutions and energy transition
• WaterEquity – Drinking water, sanitation, and water solutions
This portfolio reflects the Fund’s core thesis: real impact, global diversification, advanced governance, and financial discipline.
