Baker, an AI agent-powered performance marketing agency, has raised €525,000 in a funding round led by Draper B1, a venture capital firm that is part of the Draper Venture Network. The round also included participation from Angels, the investment company backed by Juan Roig and part of Marina de Empresas; Itnig, the Barcelona-based venture fund and startup ecosystem run by the founders of Factorial; and AIAIAI Ventures, the investment vehicle founded by the creators of Barkibu.
The funding will be used across three strategic priorities: advancing Baker's agentic platform, expanding the team, and accelerating customer acquisition in the mid-market and enterprise segments. The company plans to hire sales professionals to build a SaaS-style commercial organization, as well as marketing engineers capable of combining technical execution with deep campaign expertise.
Baker's goal is to establish its proprietary technology as the operational core of the agency, ensuring that every new customer strengthens the platform rather than requiring proportional headcount growth. The company aims to prove that service businesses can achieve the scalability and margins traditionally associated with software companies.
Founded by former Factorial leaders
Jacinto Fleta and David Alarcón first met at Factorial, where Fleta led the Growth team while Alarcón served as Senior Engineer. They are part of a growing wave of former Factorial employees launching their own startups after experiencing the company's culture of rapid growth and engineering excellence firsthand.
Their experience at Factorial has been instrumental in shaping Baker's vision. Before Baker, Fleta also founded Flamingueo and has longstanding ties to Valencia's entrepreneurial ecosystem at Marina de Empresas. He graduated from EDEM Business School, participated in the Lanzadera accelerator, and has now received investment from Angels Capital for the second time.
Founded just one month ago by Jacinto Fleta (CEO) and David Alarcón (CTO), Baker evolved from Landing Bakery, a SaaS platform focused on generating landing pages for paid advertising campaigns, into a full-service performance marketing company.
For every new client, Baker connects its platform to the company's business context, CRM, and advertising accounts. From there, its AI agents autonomously manage paid media campaigns, generate creative assets, build landing pages, and produce performance reports.
Unlike traditional agencies, where each additional client typically requires hiring more people, Baker delegates most operational work to AI agents. This enables the company to scale like a SaaS business while operating as a service provider: onboarding more customers without proportional increases in headcount, iterating faster across accounts, and maintaining margins above industry standards. The new funding will accelerate both platform development and customer growth.
"Our mission is to build the world's best agentic platform for paid marketing," said Jacinto Fleta, CEO of Baker. "We're building a paid marketing brain that doesn't just generate recommendations—it executes, from creative production to landing pages. Our vision is that service businesses will eventually achieve SaaS-like scalability and margins."
"What makes Baker especially compelling is that it brings software economics to a services business—scalability and margins that traditional agencies have never been able to achieve, all powered by an agentic infrastructure," said Luis Treviño, Investment Associate at Draper B1. "Beyond addressing a massive market opportunity, we're excited to back Jacinto and David from day one. When you meet a team whose ambition to solve a problem is contagious, you know you're in the right place."
