Addleshaw Goddard's Madrid office has advised the Spanish management company, Seaya Capital, on the acquisition of a 70% stake in Bike Ocasión, a company specializing in the buying and selling of second-hand bicycles.
Through its Seaya Andromeda Sustainable Tech Fund vehicle, the management company has combined the acquisition of shares with a capital increase. This capital will be utilized to provide resources for Bike Ocasión, supporting its expansion and internationalization efforts. This move continues Seaya Capital's investment strategy focused on companies that contribute to digitalization and the green transition.
The operation has been led by Corporate partner Germán Cabrera, with the support of senior associates Fátima García de la Torre (corporate) and Sandra de Andrés (employment).
With this acquisition, Seaya Andromeda completes its transformation from a venture capital fund into a private equity fund, specializing in high-growth companies.
