Uxia, the startup that automates user testing with Artificial Intelligence, announces its first investment round, led by Abac Nest Ventures and close to €1,000,000. Encomenda VC and other notable business angels also participated in the round. The capital will enable Uxia to accelerate product development, strengthen its technical and commercial teams, and scale its international expansion on the back of a global customer base. Uxia is based at Barcelona Activa’s Startup Lab after being selected for its acceleration program.
What sets it apart: the creation of AI-powered synthetic users to test products before launch is emerging as one of the most promising trends in digital design and development. Uxia brings this practice to all kinds of companies -from startups and enterprises to digital agencies- delivering results in minutes at a lower cost, allowing teams to iterate faster and make better product decisions.

Encomenda, the fund led by Carlos Blanco, Mercè Tell, and Javier Darriba, joins the round alongside Abac Nest Ventures. Through Encomenda II, Javier Darriba -cofounder of UserZoom, a comprehensive UX insights company valued at over €800M- comes on board as a partner and advisor, contributing deep expertise in UX research and international go-to-market strategies. The round also includes participation from well-known business angels, including Marsal Gavaldà (current CTO of Clarity AI).
Uxia’s founding team combines strong technical and product expertise, with prior experience at companies such as Google, Gopuff, and Shiji, and a clear bias toward execution.
