The Ministry of Industry and Tourism has increased the allocation for the new call of Line 1 of the Industrial Decarbonization PERTE by €78.5 million, raising it from the initial €329.7 million to €408.2 million with this expansion.
The grants, managed by SEPIDES, will support strategic projects aimed at reducing emissions in the manufacturing industry, within the framework of the Recovery Plan and the REPowerEU chapter.
The Ministry of Industry and Tourism recognizes that, for Spanish industry to accelerate the transition to more sustainable production models, it is necessary to support the competitiveness of the national industrial sector in the face of global climate challenges, which is why the initial allocation for the call has been increased.
The call, under a first-come, first-served scheme, is designed to support investments that contribute to emission reduction, energy efficiency improvement, and the transition toward more sustainable and competitive production processes.
The reinforcement of Line 1 of the Industrial Decarbonization PERTE will allow financing for a greater number of strategic industrial initiatives and accelerate the implementation of high-impact technological solutions. The interest shown by companies demonstrates the need for agile instruments that facilitate the path toward a greener and more innovative industry.
The Ministry of Industry and Tourism will continue promoting financing instruments that support the adaptation of the Spanish productive sector to a more resilient, innovative industrial model, aligned with the country’s strategic priorities
