The Regional Government of Castilla y León, through the Institute for Business Competitiveness of Castilla y León (ICECYL), has launched a new non-repayable grant scheme aimed at supporting investments by small and medium-sized enterprises in the region. The initiative seeks to strengthen business competitiveness, modernize production processes, and promote job creation and retention.
This call for applications, with an initial budget of €15 million, will remain open until December 30, giving companies ample time to plan and implement their strategic investments.
SMEs planning productive investments ranging from €30,000 to €1.5 million are eligible to apply. Projects must demonstrate technical, economic, and financial viability. In the case of new establishments, they must include the creation of at least one full-time job.
One of the key advantages of this funding scheme is the possibility for beneficiaries to request advance payments of up to 50% of the awarded grant, facilitating project implementation. The program also places special emphasis on businesses located in rural or socioeconomically disadvantaged areas, thereby strengthening the regional business fabric and contributing to territorial balance.
