TetraxAI, a tech startup based at Barcelona Activa’s StartupLab, has closed a €1.5 million pre-seed funding round to scale its AI-powered SaaS platform focused on risk management and project analysis for renewable energy. The round was led by Danish firm The Footprint Firm, with participation from Norrsken Evolve and Carbon 13, and includes a €300,000 Neotec loan from CDTI.

With this funding, the company intends to boost commercialisation of its platform and strengthen its position in the clean energy sector.

TetraxAI delivers an AI platform that automates and accelerates due diligence and risk assessment for renewable energy projects, helping developers, investors and asset managers identify critical risks in permits, contracts and land agreements far more quickly and cost-effectively than traditional methods. The technology combines advanced large language models with domain expertise to transform how renewable projects are developed, transacted and managed.

TetraxAI’s platform includes modules for automated risk reporting, consolidated market intelligence, and ongoing risk monitoring throughout a project’s lifecycle, reducing review times from weeks to hours and improving decision-making in renewable investment and operations.

With this financing, TetraxAI reinforces its mission to accelerate the global energy transition with technology that lowers entry barriers and enhances transparency in the analysis of clean energy projects
