The Sociedad Regional de Promoción (SRP), a public company of the Government of Asturias, is investing €100,000 in Go2Chain through the Asturias Startup Fund, a financial tool aimed at supporting innovative young companies.
Founded at the end of 2022 and based in the Gijón Technology Park, Go2Chain has emerged as a key player in digital transformation, with a vision to redefine digital certification and sports collectibles on a global scale.
Go2Chain develops and markets IT solutions based on enabling technologies such as blockchain and machine learning, with a particular focus on two proprietary platforms: 2certs and Cromowin.
2certs is a pioneering document certification platform that harnesses the power of blockchain technology, ensuring the immutability and authenticity of documents by creating a unique and irrefutable digital fingerprint.
Its value proposition is centered on delivering advanced tamper-proof security, an intuitive interface that simplifies complex processes, and seamless integration with existing document management systems, thus redefining trust in the digital age.
Cromowin is an innovative digital trading card platform focused on the amateur sports sector. It goes beyond traditional collecting by allowing users to collect, customize, and share their digital cards as athletes participating in various sporting events, with the unique ability to turn them into NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens).
Cromowin is fostering collaboration with sports federations and clubs, and its integration into the technological ecosystem of the Royal Spanish Football Federation is proof of its impact and potential.
The founding team of Go2Chain is made up of professionals with experience in blockchain, software development, and business management. Their knowledge of the digital market and ability to lead innovative projects have been key to the company’s rapid development.
SRP’s funding will allow Go2Chain to strengthen its technological development with new functionalities in its platforms, particularly in fraud analysis and user experience; boost digital marketing campaigns to grow its customer base; and improve infrastructure to ensure product scalability and robustness. The company also plans to expand its team by hiring new talent in sales, marketing, and technology development.
This investment contributes to strengthening Asturias’ innovation ecosystem by supporting companies committed to digital transformation and emerging technologies. Through this transaction, the Asturias Startup Fund continues to drive the growth of entrepreneurial projects with high scalability potential and the ability to generate skilled employment in the region.
Asturias Startup Fund: supporting innovative entrepreneurial initiatives
The Asturias Startup Fund is designed to finance young innovative companies that are either based in Asturias or planning to establish operations in the region. It supports businesses in both early-stage and growth phases.
The financial support is structured through participative loans ranging from €50,000 to €200,000 and offers major advantages compared to other types of financing: no guarantees are required, terms can be up to seven years, there are no fees, and repayments are adapted to the company’s performance.
To date, SRP has approved €1.955 million in financing through this fund for 21 projects, representing €10.1 million in induced investment and the creation of 229 jobs within the first two years. The second call for 2025 is currently open, with applications accepted until July 15.
Sociedad Regional de Promoción del Principado de Asturias (SRP), part of the Sekuens group, currently manages over €55.7 million invested in 56 companies across a wide range of sectors including technology, industry, agri-food, health and life sciences, engineering, social care, and circular economy and sustainability.
