Squire Patton Boggs has advised Banyan Software on its acquisition of M3 Informática, a Spanish software company specialising in human resources and payroll management solutions for the public sector.

Founded in 1990 and headquartered in Madrid, M3 Informática develops SAINT, a mission-critical HR and payroll platform designed specifically for the operational and regulatory requirements of Spanish public sector institutions. The company serves public administrations at national, regional and local level, with a particularly strong presence in the healthcare sector.

The acquisition further strengthens Banyan Software’s presence in Europe and expands its portfolio of specialised software businesses serving highly regulated industries. Founded in 2016, Banyan Software acquires and grows software businesses across North America, the United Kingdom, Europe and Asia-Pacific. The company operates more than 100 portfolio businesses worldwide and focuses on providing a permanent home for software companies serving specialised industries.

The transaction was led by Corporate/M&A partner Teresa Zueco, with support from Data Privacy, Cybersecurity & Digital Assets partner Bartolomé Martín and Corporate/M&A associates Jorge Boguñá and Ricardo Ballesteros
