Sociedad Regional de Promoción supports Migaya Arte Sano's growth with €115,000 in financing

Sociedad Regional de Promoción (SRP), a public company of the Principality of Asturias, has provided €115,000 in financing to Migaya Arte Sano, a Gijón-based company specialising in the production of gourmet biscuits, chocolates, and long shelf-life bakery and confectionery products.

The financing will enable the company to strengthen its working capital, complete the investments required for its main production facility to reach full operating capacity, and reinforce its financial structure to support a new phase of expansion. It will also allow Migaya Arte Sano to pursue new commercial opportunities and advance nationwide distribution agreements, increasing its ability to fulfil orders and respond to growing market demand.

Migaya Arte Sano has experienced significant growth in recent years and expects to comfortably exceed €1 million in revenue in 2026. The company operates two production facilities and a retail store, La Alhacena de Migaya, located in the El Llano district of Gijón, where it sells both its own products and a carefully selected range of gourmet products from other manufacturers.

Among its best-known products are Chaponas, Chapinas, and Rocas, which have helped position the brand within the gourmet segment through a value proposition built around four core principles: natural ingredients, quality, innovation, and respect for tradition.

Through this transaction, Sociedad Regional de Promoción reaffirms its commitment to supporting the growth and consolidation of Asturias' business ecosystem by backing companies with strong development potential, capable of generating economic activity and creating employment.

Sociedad Regional de Promoción del Principado de Asturias (SRP), part of the Sekuens group, currently manages €52.7 million invested in 56 companies operating across a wide range of sectors, including technology, industry, agri-food, health and wellbeing, engineering, energy efficiency, the circular economy, and sustainability, among others.
