Serveo, a company backed by private equity firm Portobello Capital and a leader in the management of efficient and sustainable services that drive the growth and development of its clients, has acquired Tecnolimp, a company specialising in industrial technical cleaning with more than 25 years of experience and a solid footprint in Catalonia, particularly in the industrial hub of Tarragona.
With this transaction, Serveo consolidates its positioning as a 360º integrated services provider for industry, expanding key technical capabilities in complex industrial environments with high operational requirements, such as the chemical, petrochemical, energy, food and pharmaceutical sectors.
Currently, more than 70% of Tecnolimp’s activity is concentrated in the chemical and petrochemical sectors, with a strong presence in Catalonia—which accounts for around 75% of its revenues—and a portfolio of recurring clients in some of the country’s main industrial hubs, such as Tarragona, the Basque Country, the Valencian Community, Andalusia and Aragon.
The integration of Tecnolimp will be carried out progressively within the Serveo Industria structure, including Tecnolimp’s 64 employees and technicians, while maintaining a focus on service continuity, operational safety and value creation for clients.
A further step in the industrial services strategy

Tecnolimp has highly specialised machinery focused on hydrodynamic technical cleaning, hydrocutting, hydrodemolition, robotic cleaning and specialised treatments in critical industrial facilities. This expansion of capabilities also enables the development of commercial and operational synergies, as well as new cross-selling opportunities among Serveo’s industrial clients, particularly in large chemical, petrochemical and energy complexes.
The transaction adds to Serveo’s recent acquisitions, which have strengthened its portfolio in, among others, the industrial sector, such as the acquisition of the industrial maintenance division of Global Dominion Access, the acquisition of Grupo Jauregui, or the integration of the maintenance activities of Duro Felguera and Navec.
