Renta 4 launches a fund of funds advised by Lift AM

Renta 4 strengthens its commitment to private equity in Spain with the launch of Renta 4 Private Equity Selección I, F.C.R., a fund of funds that will invest in around twenty private equity vehicles across Europe and the United States, with the advisory support of Lift Asset Management, led by Francisco López Posadas.

The fund, approved by the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV), has an initial duration of ten years, extendable up to a maximum of 12 years, and focuses on alternative private equity assets, including buyout and growth strategies. Its objective is to diversify investments across underlying funds, limiting exposure to a maximum of 25% in any single fund.

Innovation in private equity access

Renta 4 aims to democratize investment in this type of vehicle by offering different share classes for subscribers with a minimum investment of €10,000, well below the typical €100,000 standard for private equity funds. The classes are intended for retail investors under financial advice, professional investors, as well as employees and executives of the Renta 4 group.

The role of Lift Asset Management

Lift AM serves as the fund’s strategic advisor, responsible for identifying investment opportunities, conducting due diligence, proposing strategies, and supporting the monitoring of investments throughout the fund’s lifecycle.

Management company: Renta 4 Gestora, SGIIC, S.A.
Depositary: Renta 4 Banco, S.A.
Annual management fee: Between 0.80% and 1.40%, depending on the share class.
Success fee: Applicable on net returns according to the fund regulations.
Depositary fee: 0.06% per year (minimum €10,000).

Investor profile

The fund is open to professional and retail investors, who commit capital to be contributed through capital calls according to the fund’s needs.

Operational timeline

Subscription period: 18 months from registration, extendable by 6 months.
Investment period: Up to the third anniversary of the final closing (~3 years).
Divestment period: From the end of the investment period until the full liquidation of the fund.

With this new vehicle, Renta 4 aims to consolidate its position in the private equity sector, offering clients access to a diversified portfolio of private equity funds with professional management and investment strategies across international markets.
