Qualitas Energy, a global investment and management platform focused on renewable energy, energy transition and sustainable infrastructure investment, has announced the strengthening of its leadership team in Germany, reinforcing its commitment to shaping the future of the German wind energy market. With a project portfolio already exceeding 3 GW across more than 100 projects, the company plans to invest €1.2 billion through its flagship fund, Qualitas Energy Fund V, with the goal of expanding its internal project development pipeline to approximately 4 GW in total capacity.
To support its growth trajectory and enhance its business capabilities in the country, Qualitas Energy Deutschland GmbH has appointed three key professionals to bolster its expertise in project development, finance, and structured finance.
Stefan Ebeling has joined as Director of Project Development. With over 20 years of experience in the wind energy industry, most recently as Senior Vice President of Project Development at WKN GmbH, he brings exceptional expertise in strategic project planning. His future-oriented and pragmatic approach will play a vital role in advancing the efficient development of wind energy projects.
Philipp Wagener takes on the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO). A seasoned finance leader with extensive experience in financial management and strategic leadership across international organizations, he will enhance the finance team’s capabilities and support the execution of Qualitas Energy’s dynamic growth strategy in Germany.
Peter Lütkebohmert has been appointed Head of Structured Finance & Project Structuring. With over 15 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, including key roles at Siemens Energy, he brings deep expertise in the financing of sustainable energy projects. His contributions will be instrumental in addressing the challenges of the energy transition.
These strategic appointments underscore Qualitas Energy’s dedication to advancing the energy transition in Germany, efficiently and sustainably, while maintaining a strong focus on quality, community collaboration, and innovation in renewable energy projects.
