Since January 2026, CDTI Innovación, through Innvierte, has completed co-investment transactions in 26 companies, committing €74.2 million, and has also committed €650.1 million to 10 investment funds
CDTI Innovación, the promoter and sole shareholder of Innvierte, completed seven co-investment transactions in June—one of them classified as strategic—for a total commitment of €20.807 million. These investments are as follows:
- BIOCROSS, S.L. (Valladolid) develops early diagnostic systems based on the ApoE4 biomarker to improve life expectancy and quality of life through the early detection of Alzheimer's disease, dementia, cardiovascular diseases, and other conditions. The investment was made alongside CRB BIO II, FCR, with a €45,000 commitment from CDTI Innovación.
- CAPTOPLASTIC, S.L. (Madrid) develops advanced solutions for the detection and removal of microplastics from wastewater. The investment was made alongside BEABLE INNVIERTE KETS FUND FCR, with a €360,000 commitment from CDTI Innovación.
- IENAI SPACE, S.L. (Madrid) develops electric propulsion systems for space missions and software tools to simulate and plan satellite manoeuvres. The investment was made alongside GED CONEXO VENTURES FCR, with a €450,000 commitment from CDTI Innovación.
- GENIOVA TECHNOLOGIES, S.L. (Madrid) is a pioneer in invisible orthodontics, offering an innovative aligner technology that accelerates tooth movement and shortens treatment times. The investment was made alongside INVEREADY INNVIERTE CONVERTIBLE TECH NOTES I S.C.R., S.A., with a €812,000 commitment from CDTI Innovación.
- TELUM THERAPEUTICS, S.L. (Navarre) develops novel antimicrobial therapies to combat multidrug-resistant bacterial strains responsible for a range of diseases. The company combines artificial intelligence and synthetic biology to develop its treatments, and this financing will support the advancement of its first clinical development phase (Phase I). The investment was made alongside INVIVO VENTURES, FCR; NAVARRA TECH TRANSFER FCR; UN I+d+i TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER FCR; INVEREADY BIOTECH IV, S.C.R., S.A.; INVEREADY BIOTECH IV PARALLEL, S.C.R., S.A.; AMR ACTION FUND LP; and AMR ACTION FUND, SCSp, with a €5.244 million commitment from CDTI Innovación.
- 2 EYES VISION, S.L. (Madrid) is an innovative ophthalmic technology company developing solutions for vision diagnosis and correction. The investment was made alongside ACE 53, SLU and BULLNET CAPITAL III, SOCIEDAD DE CAPITAL-RIESGO PYME, S.A., with a €167,000 commitment from CDTI Innovación.
In addition, under its Strategic Companies investment line, CDTI Innovación committed €13.7 million to BEGAS MOTOR, S.L. (Biscay), a technology company dedicated to the design and manufacture of heavy-duty vehicle engines powered by low-emission Autogas and Bioautogas fuels.
Since January 2026, CDTI Innovación, through Innvierte, has completed co-investment transactions in 26 companies, with total commitments of €74.2 million, and has committed investments in 10 investment funds amounting to €650.1 million.
Investment fund
During June, CDTI Innovación, through Innvierte, also committed up to €75 million to a new investment fund:
- SC SUSTAINABLE EXPANSION FUND III PLUS, FCRE, managed by SUMA CAPITAL SGEIC, S.A., an independent investment manager specialising in sustainable investing with offices in Barcelona, Madrid, Paris and Milan. The fund aims to support the growth of expansion-stage companies generating positive impact—primarily profitable scale-ups—through equity and quasi-equity investments, backing long-term growth strategies. While its primary geographic focus is Spain, it will also invest in companies across other European Union countries and neighbouring markets. CDTI Innovación, through Innvierte, has committed up to €75 million to the fund. This new vehicle will promote the sustainable growth of Spain's business ecosystem while creating long-term value for investors and society.

The programme operates through Innvierte Economía Sostenible SICC S.M.E., S.A., a self-managed closed-ended collective investment company supervised by Spain's National Securities Market Commission (CNMV) and wholly owned by CDTI Innovación.
To date, CDTI Innovación has committed €3.83 billion, through Innvierte, to 67 investment funds and has directly committed €938.3 million to 197 companies through its co-investment programme.
