The call for applications for Paraíso Natural Ventures is now officially open. This new investment vehicle has been created to drive the rural economy in Asturias by supporting innovative, technology-based projects.
The initiative targets entrepreneurs and startups in Pre-seed and Seed stages that are developing solutions capable of transforming rural areas through their resources, livability, or promotion. Paraíso Natural Ventures offers these projects access to funding, as well as a specialized support environment in ruraltech to accelerate their growth and scaling.

In addition to investment, selected startups will benefit from a range of distinctive advantages. These include the opportunity to validate their solutions in real environments through pilot implementations and proof-of-concept testing, as well as access to agile processes that enable regulatory fast-tracking and industrial scaling at advanced technology readiness levels (TRL 6–9).
Social and economic impact is a core pillar of Paraíso Natural Ventures, with a strong emphasis on creating qualified employment and helping to retain population in rural areas, thereby contributing to the demographic sustainability of the region.
This new investment vehicle is the result of a collaboration between the Sociedad Regional de Promoción (SRP), Fundación Caja Rural de Asturias, and Grupo Central Lechera Asturiana—three organizations committed to the economic and social development of the Principality of Asturias.
With this initiative, Paraíso Natural Ventures aims to become a key catalyst for a new rural economy based on technology, sustainability, culture, and well-being.
