ONEtoONE has advised AEROTEC in its integration within EUROPEAN FLYERS, in a strategic operation that gives rise to one of the largest aviation pilot training centres in Europe.
Founded in 1993, AEROTEC is one of the most experienced centres in the commercial pilot training sector in Spain, recognised for its academic excellence and consolidated track record, having been the first Spanish school to obtain ATO certification. With its headquarters in Cuatro Vientos and a second base in Seville, AEROTEC has its own maintenance workshop and a certification that allows it to support all the aircraft used by the school, without depending on external workshops for the repair of its fleet of 20 aircraft, which is constantly being renewed and expanded. This integration is an important step towards continuing to offer first class training adapted to the growing national and international demand for pilots.
EUROPEAN FLYERS, founded in 1991, is a leading national and international aeronautical training centre, specialised in training aeroplane, helicopter and drone pilots. It has operational bases in Cuatro Vientos (Madrid), Mutxamel (Alicante) and Casarrubios del Monte (Toledo), a fleet of more than 30 aircraft, 14 flight simulators and a team of nearly 200 professionals.
This transaction is part of EUROPEAN FLYERS' ambitious strategic plan, which combines organic and inorganic growth to consolidate its position as a leader in the sector in Spain and to become one of the European benchmarks in aeronautical training. The operation will generate significant operational synergies, optimise resources and strengthen its positioning through new agreements with airlines and expansion into new markets.
With this union, the resulting Group reinforces its presence in southern Spain with a new base in Seville, extending its territorial reach and operational capacity. In addition to offering a wide range of programmes tailored to the needs of the global market, both institutions have trained thousands of pilots who today operate in airlines and aviation companies around the world. Together, the Group will exceed 220 students per class, with an annual capacity of more than 40,000 hours of flight and simulator instruction, training helicopter, aeroplane and drone pilots.
This operation has been led by Ricardo Fernández García, of ONEtoONE Spain.
