Startup Noetia emerged victorious at the fifth stop of the 9th edition of Venture On The Road, following an intense pitching session held on Thursday, April 16 at INtech Tenerife (Parque Científico y Tecnológico de Tenerife).
Tenerife hosted the fifth stop of the 9th edition of Venture On The Road, in an event held at INtech Tenerife (Parque Científico y Tecnológico de Tenerife) that immersed attendees in the startup ecosystem of the Canary Islands.
This roadshow, driven by SeedRocket, BStartup from Banco Sabadell, and Wayra, with the collaboration of OVHcloud, continues to travel across Spain with a clear goal: to connect startups with investors, activate local talent, and democratize access to funding opportunities. The Tenerife stop reinforces a clear trend: entrepreneurship is no longer bound by geography, with talent increasingly distributed and capital moving toward where innovation is happening.
The event was supported by key regional players such as Archipiélago Next, INtech Tenerife (Parque Científico y Tecnológico de Tenerife), the Cabildo de Tenerife, and RECABA - Red Canaria de Business Angels, all of whom play a fundamental role in strengthening the local ecosystem. During the opening session, Juan José Martínez Díaz, Minister of Innovation, Research and Development of the Cabildo de Tenerife, highlighted the potential of the Canary Islands as an emerging hub, with increasingly solid projects, global ambition, and a growing entrepreneurial community.
One of the key moments of the day was the pitching session, where finalist startups presented their projects to investors and industry experts. Hurus AI opened with a proposal focused on using artificial intelligence in international trade to connect supply and demand in global markets through verified purchasing signals. Noetia followed, presenting a platform that identifies opportunities, prepares winning bids, and evaluates tenders using advanced artificial intelligence. Next was OncoViva, a health-focused platform offering a 360-degree view of patient data in oncology and other chronic diseases. The session closed with zetta10, a B2B platform that helps Generation Z talent advance professionally through challenge-based gamification and connects them with opportunities at leading companies using AI.
Four projects, four different verticals, but a shared pattern: technology at the core and a strong growth vision.
The event opened with a keynote by Pablo Szefner, investor and mentor at SeedRocket. Later, while the jury deliberated, Eduardo Cermeño, CEO of Verifait and SeedRocket mentor, delivered a keynote addressing the real impact of artificial intelligence beyond the hype, its influence on key areas such as finance, operations, and product, and the opportunities available to those who adapt quickly.
After deliberation, the jury provided individualized feedback to each startup, offering practical recommendations on scalability, business models, and investment. Noetia was ultimately selected as the winner of this stop, standing out for its proposal, execution, and growth potential—an achievement that validates its work and opens new doors within the investment ecosystem.
As is tradition at Venture On The Road, the event concluded with a networking session where entrepreneurs, investors, and collaborators connected directly, fostering conversations that may lead to partnerships, investment, or future opportunities.
The organizers expressed their gratitude to all participating startups, partners, attendees, and members of the archipelago who made this event possible, as well as to SeedRocket and Wayra, with the support of OVHcloud, INtech Tenerife (Parque Científico y Tecnológico de Tenerife), the Cabildo de Tenerife, and RECABA - Red Canaria de Business Angels.
Venture On The Road continues its journey across Spain in search of the best entrepreneurial talent, proving that the next great opportunity may be closer than it seems
