MAGENTIQ EYE LTD., a pioneering company in AI-driven decision-support software for gastroenterology, has announced the successful closure of its Series A funding round.

MAGENTIQ EYE’s software, MAGENTIQ-COLO™, which holds FDA and CE approvals, significantly enhances polyp detection and characterization during colonoscopy procedures, leading to improved adenoma detection rates. The platform delivers real-time insights, and its CE-certified version additionally provides polyp size categorization, type estimation, and sophisticated AI-generated reporting features.

The funding round was led by aMoon, Israel’s largest dedicated HealthTech investment fund, and saw participation from existing investors including Norgine Ventures BV (Netherlands), Nina Capital (EU & USA), Namarel Ventures SL (Spain), Nova Capital (Italy), as well as private investors Sake Bosch and Roon Doornink (USA). Following the investment, aMoon partner Roy Wiesner will join MAGENTIQ EYE’s board of directors, bringing valuable strategic guidance, a global outlook, and extensive experience in scaling health technology ventures.

Dror Zur, Ph.D., founder and CEO of MAGENTIQ EYE, stated, “This financing milestone is a significant step forward for our company. We are excited to welcome aMoon and Roy Wiesner as partners. Their support will accelerate our innovation pipeline and expand our market reach, enabling us to address the increasing demand evidenced by our strong trial and purchase inquiries across the US and Europe, and ultimately deliver our advanced diagnostic tools to more healthcare professionals and patients worldwide.”

Roy Wiesner added, “We are proud to support MAGENTIQ EYE, a frontrunner in AI-enhanced colonoscopy solutions. Their technology leads the market in accuracy, feature set, cost-effective scalability, and cross-platform flexibility for gastrointestinal and laparoscopic applications. The early commercial momentum and rising interest from major strategic players underscore the potential for impactful collaborations. Our investment reflects aMoon’s commitment to empowering transformative health tech innovations that improve patient outcomes on a global scale.”

MAGENTIQ EYE is also conducting clinical trials for AI-based diagnostic tools focused on diseases affecting the lower and upper gastrointestinal tract, including ulcerative colitis, early dysplasia in Barrett’s esophagus, and gastric intestinal metaplasia. The company is further developing automated quality metrics for GI procedures. The funds raised will support ongoing R&D efforts and accelerate commercial expansion in the US, Europe, and worldwide through direct sales and partnerships with leading industry players.
