Wio Capital has closed a €1.2 million funding round led by Next Tier Ventures and Bynd VC, with the goal of accelerating a platform designed from day one with AI at its core. Its proposition combines multi-entity and multi-bank wealth aggregation, true automation of operational processes — which today consume up to 70% of an advisor’s time — and integrated execution within regulated environments.

Patricia Pastor, from Next Tier Ventures, commented: “We are excited to back Wio Capital alongside David Verdú, Gonzalo de la Peña and Bynd VC to build the next European leader in Wealth Management.

We are witnessing a structural, not incremental, transformation in the financial advisory and wealth management industry. Wio Capital was created precisely to lead this shift through an AI-agent-powered wealth management infrastructure that automates and orchestrates key tasks such as analysis, reporting, compliance, operations, and client interactions.”

The result is an “always-on” financial experience: a system operating 24/7, proactively anticipating risks, opportunities, and tasks in order to provide clients with instant and personalized financial guidance. Thanks to this hyperautomation approach, Wio dramatically reduces operational costs per client, report, advisory process, and execution, forcing banks, advisors, and asset managers to rethink their traditional operating structures.

Wio is redefining financial operations by replacing manual workflows and fragmented tools with an infrastructure orchestrated by autonomous AI agents. Analysis, reporting, compliance, operations, and client interactions become fully integrated processes, significantly raising the industry’s standards for speed, efficiency, and responsiveness. This new paradigm is accelerating the obsolescence of traditional wealth management models.

This is further strengthened by a founding team with deep expertise in Open Finance and a clear vision for the future of the industry.

“Our vision is to redefine the way wealth is managed. Wio enables wealth managers to focus on strategy and client relationships, while regulated wealth management infrastructure and AI take care of the rest,” explains Gonzalo de la Peña, co-founder and CEO of Wio.
