The acquisition will allow Mutua to complement its portfolio of mobility services, where it already operates the vehicle rental company Centauro, the car-sharing business Voltio, and the automotive service centres Aurgi and Motortown.
Reynasa is a family-owned company with more than 40 years of experience in the sector and an extensive national distribution network. It closed 2025 with revenues exceeding €70 million and employs close to 300 people.
Its integration into the Mutua Group will strengthen and support the company’s growth, improving logistics efficiency, reducing delivery times, and enabling Mutua to ensure greater availability of parts across its different mobility businesses.
Víctor Zambrana, Deputy General Director of Insurance and New Businesses at Mutua Madrileña, stated that the acquisition aligns with the insurer’s strategy to strengthen its position as a key player in automotive-related services. “With the purchase of Reynasa, we expand our presence in the mobility ecosystem and, specifically, in maintenance and spare parts distribution, where we were already present through Recomotor,” he said.
For his part, Antonio López, General Manager of Reynasa, stated that the integration into the Mutua Group represents an opportunity to strengthen the business project, “while maintaining our identity and values, and opening up new opportunities for improvement for our team and our customers. The transaction also ensures the continuity of our relationship with the Grupo Serca, of which we are an associated distributor and with which we will continue to develop synergies.”
Grupo Serca is composed of independent automotive parts distribution companies operating in the aftermarket sector, among which Reynasa is included.
