Private equity group Waterland has announced an investment in Montronic, a provider of electronic manufacturing services (EMS) headquartered in Vic, Barcelona.
The rationale for this investment, which will be made alongside the company’s CEO and shareholder, David Ortega, is to accelerate Montronic’s organic and M&A-led growth in order to reinforce its portfolio of services and geographic footprint and forge the leading player in the sector in Spain. Waterland is known for its buy-and-build strategies. Arcano Partners was the financial advisor to the selling party.
