Magellan has appointed Bruno Urquiza as General Manager for Spain to lead the company’s next phase of growth. The firm has recently established operations in the country following the integration of the Mobility and Electronic Transactions Services (MeTS) division and the Digital Banking activities of the Worldline Group. Through this transaction, the group strengthens its position as a leading international business and technology consulting player, with immediate operational capabilities in the Spanish market.

As General Manager, Bruno Urquiza’s mission will be to deploy the full range of the group’s consulting activities, built on a business model that is unique within the industry. Magellan provides end-to-end support to public and private organizations, from defining strategic and operating models and implementing new business and IT organizations, to deploying the most suitable technologies and ensuring the long-term security and operation of their systems.

Bruno Urquiza will lead the acceleration of Magellan’s business development, with a particular focus on the banking sector, where MeTS already has extensive expertise, as well as the Energy & Utilities, Retail, Industrial, and Public sectors. The group will make its global service portfolio available to Spanish clients, integrating business and IT consulting, Cybersecurity, Human Resources, and Artificial Intelligence, supported by leading platforms such as Salesforce, Microsoft, Pega, ServiceNow, and SAP, among others.

“Spain is a priority market for the Group’s development, and we have full confidence in Bruno Urquiza to accelerate our expansion in the country,” said Didier Zeioun, Chairman and Co-founder of Magellan. “We aim to strengthen our existing activities and enhance our local offering by adapting as closely as possible to our clients’ challenges. I would like to extend my sincere congratulations to Bruno Urquiza and wish him every success in his new role,” he added.

The Spanish Market: A Strategic Priority

Through the acquisition of MeTS, Magellan now has a presence in 13 countries, including 10 in Europe. Among them, Spain stands out as one of the group’s key markets, with four strategic operating centers—Madrid, Barcelona, Córdoba, and Cáceres—a team of 580 professionals, and projected revenue of €50 million in 2026.

This appointment comes at a time when the sector is experiencing sustained growth in Spain, driven by accelerating investments in digital transformation across both the private and public sectors, major government modernization programs, and the rapid rise of artificial intelligence.

Bruno Urquiza’s Career

With 30 years of professional experience, Bruno Urquiza has built an outstanding track record in both consulting and technology. He began his career at Capgemini, where he developed strong expertise in information systems transformation environments. He later joined Kerensen Consulting—a pure-play Salesforce consultancy—where he gained extensive experience in large-account development and the co-design of business models. His entrepreneurial experience within the technology sector also provided him with a broad business perspective and a distinctive ability to execute quickly and effectively.

After joining Magellan in 2016, Bruno Urquiza co-led the Salesforce business unit, transforming it into a strategic growth engine generating €35 million in revenue and employing a team of 300 consultants specialized in CRM and digital transformation.

At the beginning of 2026, he took responsibility for leading the commercial integration of MeTS into Magellan, a critical initiative aimed at maximizing synergies across the group’s 13 subsidiaries. His bicultural French-Spanish background and strong alignment with the company’s values of proximity and agility make Bruno Urquiza the ideal leader to establish Magellan as a leading player in business consulting and technology transformation in Spain.
