In a sector where experience and innovation make all the difference, two well-established Spanish firms have decided to join forces. This is how h&k was born, the result of the merger between hsi and Kiteris—an alliance that doesn’t just add up capabilities, but multiplies them.

Specializing in consulting, digital transformation, cloud services, and business-applied artificial intelligence, h&k starts out with a clear vision: to become a leading strategic partner within the Microsoft Cloud ecosystem in Spain. A new brand, yes—but one with extensive experience that speaks for itself.

With initial revenues exceeding €20 million, an EBITDA of 10%, a team of nearly 200 professionals, and more than 1,100 active clients, the Catalan company launches with an ambitious strategic plan aiming to reach €50 million in revenue by 2028, with an EBITDA of 20%, driven by the boom in cloud business and the mass adoption of AI across Spanish companies.

Its model is based on sustained organic growth, a solid base of recurring service revenues (between 60% and 65% of total income), and a strong specialization in the Microsoft Cloud ecosystem, which represents nearly three-quarters of its total activity.

The new company presents an integrated value proposition: strategic consulting, software development, data analytics and processing, security, automation, and managed services across Azure, PowerPlatform, and Microsoft 365 environments—complemented by an innovation area focused on generative AI and Copilot.

Cloud, Security, and AI: The Three Pillars of h&k

“The main mission of h&k is to help our clients transform their businesses through consulting and specialized technology services, based on the talent and experience of our team, using AI, secure solutions, and Microsoft technology,” explains Javier Tejada, Co-President of h&k and Head of Technology. “Our goal is to become a national benchmark in Microsoft technology, particularly among high-level SMB clients.”

The market is undergoing a revolution driven by AI and cloud services. In the coming months, companies of all sizes will begin integrating AI into their business processes.

“At h&k, we want to be the partner that helps them do it safely, efficiently, and in line with their strategic objectives,” adds Tejada. “Our deep knowledge of the Microsoft ecosystem allows us to offer scalable solutions that integrate AI, automation, and security from the ground up—delivering tangible value from day one.”

“This merger is not a financial operation or the acquisition of one company by another,” notes Josep Amores, Co-President of h&k and Head of Institutional Relations and Finance. “It’s a merger of talent, experience, and corporate culture. We’ve integrated two complementary structures that combine technical capabilities and business vision, with a 100% self-financed model. In three years, we aim to be among the top Spanish tech consultancies in the Microsoft space and prepare for international expansion into European and Latin American markets.”

Amores also points to the evolution of the tech sector as a driving force behind the merger:

“The next decade will be defined by the consolidation of Cloud, AI-driven automation, and predictive analytics as engines of productivity. The companies that best combine technology, data, and human talent will lead this new digital economy. Our commitment is to anticipate these trends and support our clients in achieving sustainable growth.”

Technological Edge with a Human Touch

h&k emerges at a time of unprecedented transformation. According to the latest data from Spain’s National Statistics Institute (INE), as of the first quarter of 2024, 37.7% of companies with ten or more employees use Cloud Computing services. That figure rises to 80% among companies with over 250 employees. These are already significant numbers—but they reveal the enormous growth potential for cloud solutions among high-level SMBs.

“In this context, h&k positions itself as a catalyst for the technological modernization of Spanish corporations—regardless of their size,” says Tejada. “Our strategy is based on specialization, continuous innovation, and operational excellence.”

Unlike its competitors, h&k focuses on proximity, flexibility, and execution speed as the cornerstones of its differentiation. With expert teams certified in Microsoft 365, Azure, PowerPlatform, Fabric, and .NET, and a culture of innovation that drives the creation of AI-driven business use cases, the company positions itself as one of Spain’s most specialized tech players—always highlighting the human touch at the heart of its daily operations.

“Our motto, Smart tech. Human touch, reflects the balance between technological excellence and human closeness—a distinctive hallmark compared to the large market integrators, and what truly makes us unique,” says Amores.

That human touch has already earned the company Spain’s Happy Index at Work 2025 certification, ranking it among the top 10 best companies to work for in Spain, with staff turnover below 10%, half the national average.
