Next Thursday, February 12, 2026, the city of Bilbao will host a new edition of Venture on the Road, the flagship roadshow for early-stage tech startups seeking investment and visibility. The event will take place from 5:00 PM at the Torre BAT (Bilbao Accelerator Tower) in Bilbao.
Venture on the Road is an initiative created in 2017 by SeedRocket and BStartup from Banco Sabadell, joined in 2020 by Wayra, Telefónica’s open innovation hub, as a co-organizer. In this ninth edition, the roadshow is also supported by OVH Cloud. Its goal is to identify the best dealflow from each region and provide seed-stage startups with access to investors and a key network within the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
The in-person event is aimed at innovative tech startups from the Basque Country that are in an early stage, have developed a first version of their product, demonstrate traction, and are actively seeking investment. Interested teams must complete the registration form by Monday, February 2, 2026, at 11:59 PM. One week before the event, the finalist startups who will pitch their projects to investors will be announced.
The day will feature a keynote speech by Tom Horsey, founder and Managing Partner of Eoniq.fund and co-founder of StartupLabs, Mox, and Agilia Center. He will present “How to Build Businesses in the Age of AI?”, sharing his strategic insights on entrepreneurship and artificial intelligence.
In addition to presentations and networking, Venture on the Road Bilbao offers significant incentives for participating startups. The winning startup of this stop will receive €10,000 in OVH Cloud credits and advance to the fast track of the SeedRocket Entrepreneur Campus selection process (35th edition in May 2026 or 36th in November 2026). Moreover, the six winning startups from the different roadshow cities will participate in the national final.
The winner of the 9th Venture on the Road final will receive, among other prizes, specialized support in finance or marketing worth €3,000 offered by BStartup, participation as a guest project in the SeedRocket Entrepreneur Campus, workspace for 6 to 12 months at Wayra offices, priority access to their network and events, and a total of €15,000 in OVH Cloud credits.
The event is also open to investors, who will have the opportunity to discover innovative projects and new investment opportunities within the Basque tech ecosystem
