Ivace+i Internacional supports the expansion of startups and technology companies in the United States

Ivace+i Internacional, an agency under the Regional Ministry of Industry, Tourism, Innovation and Trade led by Marián Cano, has set among its 2026 objectives the promotion of the entry and consolidation of startups and technology companies from the Valencian Community in the United States.

The Director General for Entrepreneurship and Internationalisation, Mónica Payá, explained that this objective strengthens a long-standing line of work “based on close collaboration with the entrepreneurial ecosystem to facilitate the internationalisation of startups and technology companies from the Valencian Community”.

“We have organised several exploratory missions and supported the participation of startups in major trade fairs such as eMerge Miami over a number of years,” Payá noted.

The initiative now takes a step further to reinforce the value proposition and offer “top-tier acceleration, investment and networking opportunities through three international promotion initiatives, which may represent either an entry into this attractive market or further consolidation within it”.

This package of actions includes group participation at eMerge Miami, the option to take part in an acceleration programme or bootcamp in New York with ERA Global and Ivace+i New York, and participation in the SelectUSA Investment Summit, an investment event promoted by the US government.

“Interested companies may take part in all three initiatives or choose the one that best suits their interests,” explained Mónica Payá.

Exploratory mission and eMerge trade fair

In April, Ivace+i Internacional will organise an exploratory mission to Miami aimed at showcasing the city’s vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem through meetings with business connectors, professional soft-landing service providers (a gradual and controlled entry of a company into a new market), venture capital firms (high-risk investment in which private funds or firms provide capital to startups in exchange for equity), and investors, among others.

In addition, startups and technology companies will have the opportunity to participate in eMerge Miami, the most important technology event in the United States.

Acceleration programme

The second of the three proposed initiatives is an acceleration programme or bootcamp developed by Ivace+i Internacional’s New York office in collaboration with the New York-based accelerator ERA Global.

The aim of this programme, which will take place at the end of April, is to help companies validate their business model in the United States, develop a go-to-market strategy (a comprehensive plan to launch a product or service, defining the target audience, the problem it solves, its market positioning and the channels through which it will reach customers, with the aim of ensuring successful adoption, generating demand and achieving profitability), and prepare to scale in this complex market.

SelectUSA Investment Summit

Ivace+i Internacional is also organising a business delegation to the SelectUSA Investment Summit, the leading event designed to promote business investment in the United States, which will be held from 3 to 6 May in National Harbor, Maryland.

SelectUSA brings together thousands of investors, companies, economic development organisations and industry experts, creating a unique environment to forge strategic connections and close deals.

The event, promoted by the US government, has become a comprehensive platform for companies interested in establishing or expanding operations in the United States. It is open to companies from all sectors, with a dedicated track for startups and technology companies.
