The round also included continued support from existing investors such as HEARTFELT_ —whose main LPs include Porsche AG and Axel Springer— as well as a group of business angels with extensive experience in finance, technology, and strategic consulting.
Iqana develops institutional-grade quantitative infrastructure for digital assets. The platform enables HNWIs, hedge funds, family offices, and asset managers to access crypto markets through systematic, risk-managed strategies.
The round represents a significant milestone for Iqana’s growth, at a time when the digital asset market is becoming more professional, with increasing participation from institutional investors and a clearer regulatory framework.
“This funding will allow us to strengthen our early-stage proposition and accelerate product development to meet the expectations of our investors in an increasingly regulated and demanding environment,” said Quim Allard, co-founder of the company.
With the new capital, Iqana will expand its team and quantitative research and execution capabilities, grow its market-neutral and USD-denominated verticals alongside its Bitcoin-denominated strategies, and continue progressing in the regulatory process to obtain a MiCA license under the supervision of the Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores (CNMV).
MiCA, coming into force in 2024, establishes a harmonized framework for the issuance, offering, and provision of crypto-asset services across the 27 EU member states, enhancing legal certainty and market confidence.
Institutional-grade infrastructure
Iqana offers a platform integrating portfolio management, risk control, and multi-venue execution, allowing quantitative models to be developed, deployed, and operated in a fully automated, secure, and auditable environment.
Marc Clemente, Partner at K Fund, highlighted: “Institutional capital is steadily increasing its allocation to digital assets, yet infrastructure has not evolved at the same pace. Iqana represents a new generation of institutional infrastructure that combines quantitative rigor, regulatory alignment, and operational robustness. We are supporting a company that will help shape the future of professional digital asset investing.”
