CDTI Innovación, promoter and sole shareholder of Innvierte, closed 8 co-investment transactions in February, including 1 strategic investment, totaling €12,649,000, specifically:

  • INNOVATIVE CSR TECHNOLOGIES AND CONSULTING, S.L., APLANET (Vizcaya) develops a technological platform for managing Corporate Social Responsibility and sustainability aspects, providing non-financial information with environmental, social, and economic indicators. The investment was made alongside Michelena Ventures, SL, and EDP Ventures II, SIC de Capital de Riesgo Fechada, S.A., with CDTI Innovación contributing €180,000.
  • BASQUEVOLT, S.A. (Vitoria-Gasteiz) is a key player in the technological transformation toward next-generation solid-state batteries, developing a proprietary hybrid-polymer electrolyte technology to facilitate mass adoption of electric mobility. The follow-on investment was made alongside Next Technology Ventures II, FCR, with CDTI Innovación contributing €1,395,000.
  • BITSPHI DIAGNOSIS, S.L. (Madrid) is transforming the neurodiagnostics standard by creating solutions based on EEG (electroencephalography) activity using brain connectivity patterns. The investment was made with BULLNET CAPITAL III, SOCIEDAD DE CAPITAL-RIESGO PYME, S.A., and ACE 53, SLU, with CDTI Innovación contributing €284,000.
  • CANDAM TECHNOLOGIES, S.L. (Barcelona) specializes in IoT technology for digitizing the waste cycle and is a pioneer in packaging characterization. The company designs and distributes proprietary hardware and software tools to facilitate selective collection in incentive programs, deposit-return systems, and generation fees for public and private sectors. The investment was made alongside InnoEnergy, SC CLIMATE TECH VENTURES FUND I, F.C.R.E., and SC CLIMATE TECH VENTURES I, F.C.R.E., S.A., with CDTI Innovación contributing €95,000.
  • GRODI AGROTECH, S.L. (Almería) develops autonomous robotics and computer vision systems for intensive Mediterranean agriculture. Its solutions provide producers, cooperatives, research centers, and seed companies with objective, standardized, and continuous information to reduce uncertainty and improve decision-making. The investment was made with SWANLAAB INNVIIERTE AGRIFOOD TECH, FCR, with CDTI Innovación contributing €500,000.
  • LUXQUANTA TECHNOLOGIES, S.L. (Barcelona) is a quantum cybersecurity company specializing in Continuous-Variable Quantum Key Distribution (CV-QKD). It develops and markets quantum-secure encryption solutions to protect global communications against current and future threats, including quantum computing. Luxquanta serves telecommunications, public administrations, data centers, and critical infrastructure worldwide. The investment was made with BSV IV ARIADNE, F.C.R.E., with CDTI Innovación contributing €892,000.
  • PEPTOMYC, S.L. (Barcelona) is a biotechnology company developing innovative cancer therapies based on miniproteins capable of directly inhibiting MYC, a key driver of tumor proliferation, cell survival, and resistance to oncology treatments. By blocking MYC, Peptomyc opens the door to a new generation of targeted therapies potentially applicable to multiple cancer types. The investment was made through ALTA LIFE SCIENCES SPAIN I FCR, advised by Asabys Partners since the merger of Aliath Bioventures with Asabys in October 2025, with CDTI Innovación contributing €630,000.

Additionally, under its strategic companies line, CDTI Innovación committed €8,673,000 to PAYLOAD AEROSPACE, S.L. (Alicante), which develops small satellite launch technologies.

Since January 2026, CDTI Innovación, through Innvierte, has closed co-investment transactions in 15 companies with a total commitment of €20.3 million and has committed investments in 2 investment vehicles totaling €61 million.

Investment Vehicles

In February, CDTI Innovación, through Innvierte, committed €37.5 million to 1 investment vehicle:

  • ALEOS FUND I is a fund with a target size of €150 million and a hard cap of €240 million, managed by Aleos Capital SGEIC, S.A. (Madrid). The fund focuses on investing in Spanish and Portuguese SMEs in the life sciences sector across three verticals: health and wellness, sustainable nutrition, and climate & environment. In February 2026, the fund completed its first close with over €150 million, surpassing its target size. CDTI Innovación’s commitment through Innvierte amounts to €37.5 million.

Innvierte is an initiative aimed at promoting business innovation by supporting venture capital investment in technology-based or innovative companies. It is implemented through the closed-end collective investment company Innvierte Economía Sostenible SICC S.M.E., S.A., self-managed and supervised by the Spanish National Securities Market Commission (CNMV), with CDTI Innovación as the sole shareholder.

To date, CDTI Innovación has committed €3,215.5 million across 57 investment vehicles through Innvierte and has directly co-invested €865.9 million in 197 companies.
