The company iMstant Cosmeceutics, S.L. (iMstant), founded in 2021 and based in the Science and Technology Park of Gijón, has developed an innovative business model centered on cosmeceutical personalization through digital diagnosis. Its pioneering approach in the sector has just received the backing of the Sociedad Regional de Promoción del Principado de Asturias (SRP), a public company of the regional government, which will allocate €100,000 to support its growth through the Fondo Asturias Startup.
The company focuses on the development, manufacturing, and commercialization of personalized cosmeceutical treatments designed from a digital cosmetological diagnosis performed via smartphone using its proprietary iMstant Scan4D tool. This system evaluates skin condition and prescribes tailored products for each user, available in aesthetic centers.
The iMstant model not only offers a customized product but also provides continuous client monitoring, collects feedback, and adjusts formulations based on the skin’s evolution until optimal results are achieved.

The company has oriented its strategy toward a B2B model, focusing on aesthetic clinics as its primary prescribers. These centers build consumer trust through professional expertise and technical knowledge, becoming strategic allies for iMstant’s expansion.

The growth plan, supported by SRP funding through the Fondo Asturias Startup, involves a total investment of €213,000 and the creation of five new jobs within the first two years.
Fondo Asturias Startup: supporting innovative entrepreneurial initiatives
The Fondo Asturias Startup provides financing for innovative young companies based in Asturias or planning to establish operations there, whether in early, consolidation, or growth stages. Financial support is offered through unsecured participative loans ranging from €50,000 to €200,000.
So far, SRP has approved €2.205 million in funding through this program for 23 projects, representing a total induced investment of €10.8 million and the creation of 239 jobs within the first two years. The third call for 2025 is currently open, with applications accepted until November 20.
