The ICF is to take part in the first entrepreneurship programme in the beauty industry. The programme is to be run by the Beauty Business School, the first business school exclusively for professionals in the beauty industry, with the backing of the Beauty Cluster, an organisation bringing together more than 200 companies across the industry. It will enable students to work on their entrepreneurial project and learn about the industry, gain knowledge, skills and tools for good business management, make their first moves and embark on a responsible, sustainable and viable entrepreneurial venture.
The training is addressed to a broad professional profile and structured as a conversion funnel. It will be divided into two stages: design and validation. After passing the validation stage, participants will have the chance to present their project to an expert panel at the Demo Day, which will usher in the third and final stage: the launch of the idea, project or product.
The programme will feature experts in several business, entrepreneurship and financing fields such as ACCIÓ, pharmaceutical firm Uriach, Mentactiva and Vytrus Biotech. The ICF will deliver content on financing in the beauty industry, sharing its knowledge and experience in this field.
In this first year, 15 projects will be accepted and it is open to both legal entities and teams looking to create, pivot, give shape to and successfully implement their business idea or product in the vibrant beauty industry.
