BQUO, DOMINION’s innovative entrepreneurship and talent development program, has announced the opening of applications for its latest edition, which launched on May 5. This new call aims to continue driving innovation around sustainability and technology. Applications will remain open until June 23, with a goal of surpassing 250 valid candidates. The program targets projects and talent primarily from Spain and Latin America, while maintaining a strong commitment to multiculturalism and diversity.
Unlike other initiatives, BQUO focuses on projects that are already underway, seeking entrepreneurs and startups that have begun shaping their ideas and now need support to consolidate and scale. The program is aimed at diverse profiles—experienced or visionary—who want to develop innovative solutions in sustainability and technology and access the market. It’s not just about identifying talent, but also about supporting viable ideas in a professional environment connected to the broader entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Mikel Barandiaran, CEO of DOMINION, stated: "We believe talent is the key to success in today’s business world. BQUO is the embodiment of our commitment to people who have the courage to imagine their future and take action to achieve it. The program offers training and resources, but most importantly, an immersive experience that connects entrepreneurs with DOMINION’s knowledge and network at all levels."
An immersive experience for participants
Selected participants will take part in a six-month immersive experience at DOMINION’s headquarters in Bilbao. They will receive tailored training, one-on-one mentorship from senior leadership, and access to the company’s market channels and corporate resources. BQUO participants will be able to develop their entrepreneurial projects and also help solve internal challenges of the company, engaging directly with key sectors such as industry, energy, telecommunications, and infrastructure—with a clear focus on sustainability.
The program is aimed at individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit who are ready to shape their ideas and turn them into viable projects. DOMINION will particularly value proactive, committed profiles with the ability to work independently. The program is open to those with a defined business idea and to those in an exploration phase, ready to build one from scratch.
With its focus on sustainability through technology, the program seeks projects that positively contribute to the transformation of the key sectors in which DOMINION operates.
Applications open until June 23
The application deadline is June 23. Participants will not only receive training, but also project funding, travel and accommodation expenses, and a monthly stipend.
The BQUO program also offers the opportunity to work in a global, publicly traded company present in over 35 countries—providing strong backing for participant initiatives. Through its mentoring and hands-on training, young entrepreneurs will become familiar with the culture and dynamics of a leading company in its sector.
"BQUO is a platform to take projects to the next level—where ideas evolve and become viable initiatives. It’s a place for learning by doing, where entrepreneurs can develop their ideas in real time, supported by top-tier professionals and backed by a global company like DOMINION. Our mission is to guide new talent so they not only start ventures but do so with purpose and a positive impact on society and the environment," concluded Patricia Berjón, Director of BQUO and Director of Corporate Development at DOMINION.
