Webel, a digital marketplace specializing in on-demand home services, has closed a €4.3 million pre-Series A funding round aimed at accelerating its growth, strengthening its technology, and expanding its presence in the European market.

The round was led by Trind Ventures and included participation from existing investors such as Decelera Ventures and Tiburon. It also marks the entry of Mantas Mikuckas, co-founder and former COO of Vinted, one of Europe’s leading digital marketplace platforms.

“The confidence of leading investors and the addition of profiles such as Mantas Mikuckas reinforce our ambition to build the leading platform for hiring any home service,” said Nacho Tejero, CEO and co-founder of Webel. “Our goal is to simplify access to these services while creating new job opportunities for thousands of professionals.”

Founded in 2018, Webel was created with the aim of making it easy and efficient to book home services, while enabling professionals to manage their activity through the platform. The company currently has more than 2 million users and around 350,000 registered professionals, offering close to one million services on its marketplace.

The platform operates in 31 Spanish cities, including Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Seville, and Bilbao, and has recently launched its international expansion into the United Kingdom. Among the most востреб demanded categories are home cleaning, ironing, and maintenance services, although in recent months new categories such as small renovations, moving services, appliance repair, private tutoring, and caregiving have gained traction.

Webel has experienced sustained growth in recent years, significantly increasing its activity levels and improving customer profitability, bringing the company close to break-even. Its business model is based on an efficient cost structure that allows it to offer prices between 30% and 40% lower than competitors, while also providing attractive conditions for professionals, including lower commissions and greater autonomy in managing their services.

The funds raised will be primarily allocated to marketing and product development, with the aim of scaling the model, boosting new categories, and increasing platform visibility. In this regard, the company expects to triple its revenue in 2026, supported by the expansion of its offering and the ongoing digitalization of the sector.

“We are evolving from being primarily perceived as a cleaning app into a comprehensive home services platform, with more than 30 categories ranging from renovations and moving services to private tutoring and caregiving,” Tejero added.

Webel’s growth is part of a broader global trend toward the digitalization of home services, driven by increasing demand for fast, flexible, and on-demand solutions. With a global market exceeding €1 trillion and still relatively low levels of digitalization, the company aims to establish itself as a leading player in this segment across Europe
