Clifford Chance has advised Nido Living, a vertically integrated European platform specialising in student accommodation in Iberia, with a strategic plan to expand in Italy and Germany, on the approximately EUR 210 million real estate financing of its PBSA (Purpose-Built Student Accommodation) portfolio in Spain and Portugal. The team also provided legal advice on the corporate reorganisation of the group, thereby strengthening its structure and presence in the Iberian market.
The legal advice was provided by a multidisciplinary Clifford Chance team involving the Madrid, Amsterdam, Luxembourg and London offices. The transaction was led by Global Financial Markets partner Felipe Font, alongside associate Claudia de Olaran. The team also included associates Lucía Domínguez, Juan Conde-Pumpido and Ana de la Torre; counsel María Pradillo, senior associate Jorge Barrero, and associate Itziar Kraus from the Real Estate team.
